Rizo

An international cult favorite, her stage shows bring her powerhouse vocals together with seductive storytelling and wild hilarious audience experiments. Rizo is a provocateur with an electric wit, and has been called a “diva par excellence” by The Guardian. In the studio she has collaborated with Moby, Reggie Watts, and Yo-Yo Ma; whose album Songs of Joy & Peace, which features Rizo, won a Grammy Award. Rizo recently starred in the role of Madame Zinzanni in the revival of the much beloved Teatro ZinZanni.

"Sensational.. Rizo makes connections between performer and audience that are impossible in any other context" - The New York Times

"Rizo practically has the word "talent" tattooed on her forehead." - Wall Street Journal

Making Movies

Founded by Enrique Chi—a songwriter, musician, filmmaker, and activist—the Latin Grammy-nominated Making Movies serves as the primary platform for Chi’s creative mission. Rooted in the rich traditions of Panamá, a melting pot, the band’s sound is an embodiment of those diverse cultures, offering listeners a unique experience that feels both extraordinary and familiar. Described by NPR as "Perhaps one of the most unique groups around today, Making Movies is sensual, smoky, and seductive. The band is committed to representing their mixed identity of Black and Latino culture and has been a vocal influence in the national health conversation around music as medicine.

“Lyrically and sonically one of the best albums of the year” - NPR
“(Making Movies) an icon of pro-immigrant advocacy” - Chicago Tribune
