The Pat Reardon Band

The Pat Reardon band are fine purveyors of blue-eyed soul, rough-sanded with a double humbucker guitar and propped up with a Boston back-beat. Original songs by band leader Pat Reardon tell stories that are heavy on the one, with a funky disposition that can distract the casual listener from the tender-hearted core. Sentimental country twang and hep-cat jazz chords are all part of the mix. It’s not a straight line from the head to the heart to the booty. Rounding out the quartet are Andre Sapp on spangly-jangly guitar, Rex McFarlin on the four strang-thang, and Chris Mueller slapping the skins with added syncopated cymbalism.
