It’s Not About Menopause!

Susan McCabe’s new book Hot Flashes Cold Showers is about lots of life’s educational moments and none of them have to do with menopause. McCabe will host a book launch party Thursday, March 13, 6pm at the Synergy Center (home to Women Hold The Key) at the junction of Vashon Hwy and Gorsuch Rd. Everyone is welcome to join the party, and RSVPs are required. Email susanmccabe8848@gmail.com

McCabe will read excerpts from her book which one reader called “That rare book that entertains while also encouraging readers to reflect on their own lives. McCabe reminds us that even the most ordinary moments can contain extraordinary meaning when viewed through the right lens. This collection is a testament to finding joy, humor, and beauty at every stage of life—hot flashes, cold showers, and all.”

Island humorist and author Cindy Hoyt says about the book, “Susan has mined a deep vein of experience to share a few universal takeaways. The book launch party will include snacks, drinks and a few pleasant surprises.
