Dust off your baking talents and frosting skills to craft a holiday Gingerbread creation the entire community can enjoy. Vashon Center for the Arts will be hosting the 5th Annual Holiday Gingerbread Contest and putting entries on display for all to see! Plus, prizes aplenty! Open to all ages.

Thanks to our sponsor Vashon Thriftway, we’ll be awarding $100 Thriftway Gift Cards to four lucky winners. Islanders and visitors to VCA can view and vote on their favorites from Dec 6 until Dec 20. Winners will be notified by 5pm on December 20.

Prizes awarded for:

“Best Vashon Landmark”

“Most Traditional Gingerbread House”

”Best Youth Design”

“Best in Show”

Rules: All Gingerbread Houses MUST be edible! 100% yummy! All entries must be built on a solid base for stability and display purposes. Full name of creator(s) must be written and visible on the creation.

Submissions must be delivered to VCA between December 3 and December 5 during business hours, 12-5pm.

Creations will be on display for public viewing at Vashon Center for the Arts in our lobby from December 6 thru December 20, Wed - Sun, 12-5PM.

Everyone is encouraged to come by and vote for their favorites!
